Mindfulness of Dream and Sleep - 28-31 October
2010
This course will include all the foundational overviews of the
history, science and how to practice Mindfulness of
Dream and Sleep (Lucid Dreaming) from both the Western psychological
and Tibetan Buddhist traditions, but with the added benefit of optional
night time practices as well! After a program of lucid dreaming
teachings, group exercises and nap periods throughout the day, the
group will have the opportunity to meet in the early hours of the
morning to train in guided lucid dreaming practices which will allow
them to benefit not only from the extended REM periods that the
early morning offers but also from the beneficial energy and new
dynamic which group practice provides. Lucid Dreaming can be of
both spiritual and psychological benefit to those who practice it
as part of their spiritual path and these workshops will explore
the techniques and practice of lucid dreaming within this context
of spiritual growth.
The course is open to all abilities but there is a Weekend
Only option for those people who have already done an introductory
course.
