Prajnaparamita - The Heart Sutra - Perception and the world around us.

‘Form is emptiness, emptiness is form’ These six words from the heart sutra were a source of inspiration 2500years ago just as they are today. This pithy enigmatic phrase goes to the very root of how we sense and cognize the world. With startling simplicity the heart sutra challenges us to perceive things as they really are.

This course examines mind and the five senses using meditation to question and explore our perceptions. Such determined enquiry gives rise to clarity, compassion, and wisdom sufficient to vanquish habitual patterns. There will be explorations in movement and meditation coupled with dharma talks and time for individual interviews with both or either teacher.

All levels of experience are welcome.

Terry Hagan has over 30 years of experience in Buddha Dharma and was the personal assistant of the late Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche for over a quarter of century. Terry uses his wide range of experience and his love of nature to create a direct accessible approach to meditation.
Mala Sikka has over 25 years of experience in Buddha Dharma. She has also trained extensively in Shiatsu, movement, dance and Inner Yogas and uses her intimate knowledge of subtle body energy to teach an integrated path of awakening.

If you are unable to make the course but would like to sponsor some travel costs you are welcome to do so. We would like to raise £600 towards the travel any extra, will go to travel fund for the Crystal group.

Accommodation: £14 a night and below depending where you stay and will be payable on arrival to the course. Please ring Sue for details and to book your space.
